1. Who we are
Zeerak Technology is a Germany-based technology company that designs, builds, and supports websites, applications, and everyday IT — and delivers Microsoft 365 training and professional development programs — so our clients deal with one accountable team instead of a chain of vendors.

2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we collect when you visit this Site, use our contact form, or otherwise interact with us online. It does not cover data we may collect through other channels (for example, a signed client contract, email correspondence outside the contact form, or third-party platforms we don't control, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, or Facebook).
3. What data we collect
3.1 Data you give us directly
When you use the contact form on this Site, we collect the information you enter, which currently includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The content of your message and any other details you choose to share
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a contract with you.
3.2 Data collected automatically
Like most websites, our server and the tools we use automatically log some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps. Some of this happens as part of normal, necessary website operation (e.g. server logs, security); some — such as analytics — only happens if you consent via our cookie banner. See Section 5.
4. Why we process your data (legal basis)
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)) |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry sent via the contact form | Name, email, message | (b) performance of / steps towards a contract, or (f) our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed to us |
| Operating and securing the Site (e.g. preventing abuse, keeping the site running) | Server/technical logs, necessary cookies | (f) legitimate interest in the security and functioning of our systems |
| Understanding how visitors use the Site, via Google Analytics | Analytics cookies, usage data (see Section 6) | (a) your consent, given via the cookie banner |
| Marketing / advertising cookies, if and when enabled | Marketing cookies | (a) your consent, given via the cookie banner |
Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect — see Section 5 and Section 11.
5. Cookies & similar technologies
We use a cookie consent banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose exactly which categories to allow. Your choice is stored so we don't ask again until our cookie policy changes materially.
| Category | Purpose | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Required for core functionality — for example, remembering your cookie preference and keeping the site secure. These do not require consent under applicable law. | No |
| Analytics | Used to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page) so we can improve it. Currently powered by Google Analytics — see Section 6. Only loaded if you consent. | Yes |
| Marketing | Reserved for cookies that would show more relevant ads or measure campaign performance. We are not currently running any marketing/advertising cookies through this category, but the option exists in our consent tool for future use. | Yes |
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time:
Manage cookie preferences6. Google Analytics
When you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), with data processed by Google LLC (USA) as part of Google's global infrastructure.
Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate visitor behaviour (e.g. which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, which device types are used) so we can improve the Site. It does not run, and no analytics data is collected, unless you have given consent through our cookie banner.
- Analytics only loads after you accept the "Analytics" category in our cookie banner.
- We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.
- You can find Google's own privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across sites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
7. Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf ("processors"), or where required by law. Current processors include:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Formspree | Handles and delivers submissions from our contact form to us by email | Name, email, message content |
| Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) | Website usage analytics (only with your consent) | Usage data, cookies — see Section 6 |
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts the Site and processes server/technical logs (e.g. IP address, request data) as part of delivering the Site to your browser | Technical/server logs |
We may also disclose data where required to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
8. International data transfers
Some of our processors — including Formspree, Google, and Netlify — are based in, or transfer data to, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified) and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, both of which these providers offer. You can ask us for more detail on the safeguards in place — see Section 14.
9. How long we keep data
- Contact form submissions: retained for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry, and thereafter only as needed for legitimate business or legal record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
- Analytics data: retained according to the settings configured in our Google Analytics property.
- Cookie consent record: your cookie choice is stored in your browser until you clear your browser storage or update your preference; we re-ask if our cookie categories or this policy change materially.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data appropriately protected and to use processors who do the same.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR, if you are located in the EEA (and under equivalent law elsewhere), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), in certain circumstances
- Restrict how we process your data, in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transferred to another controller, where technically feasible
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (e.g. via cookie settings)
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — see Section 14
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
12. Children's privacy
This Site is intended for businesses and professional visitors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new tool or processor, or if data protection law changes. We'll update the "last updated" date below, and where changes are material (e.g. new cookie categories), we'll ask for your consent again via the cookie banner.
14. Contact us / complaints
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, or want to exercise any of your rights, contact us at:
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in line with GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — typically the one in the EU member state where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
